Have you ever stood in a foreign city with street food in hand, completely happy, and thought: “I wish I had someone to share this with”? If so, you’re exactly who our women’s group travel experiences were built for.
We’re a women’s group travel brand built on one simple belief. The best way to experience a place is through its food. And because of that, the best people to share it with are women who feel less like travel companions by the end of the trip, and more like family.
We specialise in women’s culinary travel because food is the most honest doorway into any destination. In other words, this isn’t about ticking off monuments. Instead, it’s about slowing down enough to taste a place properly. It’s wandering a market with no agenda but curiosity, and doing all of it alongside a small group of women who want exactly that kind of experience. If you’re new to the idea, our guide on planning women’s group travel is a good place to start.
Our Mission and Vision
Our mission is simple: give women a way to travel that feels nourishing — physically, socially, and emotionally. To do this, we design carefully built culinary trips. As a result, food becomes the entry point into a destination’s culture and people. Meanwhile, the group itself becomes part of the experience too, not just the backdrop.
Our vision is a community of women who see travel as an extension of their curiosity and appetite, rather than an escape from their lives. Ultimately, we want Her Hungry Feet to be the first name women think of when they search for women’s group travel experiences.
Meet the Founder

Arpana founded Her Hungry Feet, and her relationship with food and travel took shape long before this brand existed. Originally from Jammu, she spent over a decade in Chennai and studied in Canada along the way. Because of that mix, she developed an early, instinctive understanding of how much a place’s food reveals about its people.
Her path into hospitality includes nine years working closely with celebrated chef and restaurateur Ritu Dalmia. As a result, that experience sharpened her sense of how food, culture, and storytelling intersect on a single plate. It’s also the foundation behind this brand: an insider’s eye for where to eat, and how to read a destination through its kitchens and markets.
That kind of knowledge doesn’t come from a quick search before a trip. Instead, it comes from years immersed in hospitality — knowing exactly which side-street stall serves the dish a city is actually known for. So, after years of curating experiences for others professionally, Arpana wanted to build something of her own. In short, a brand that combines her hospitality expertise with a simple belief: women travel better, and eat better, together.
What Makes Us Different
Plenty of brands offer women’s travel groups. Similarly, plenty offer food tours too. However, what makes Her Hungry Feet different is the combination — group travel built entirely around real culinary experiences, guided by someone whose career, not just personal interest, has shaped her understanding of hospitality.
The brand didn’t start as a business plan. Rather, it started as a feeling — the joy of travelling somewhere new and finding yourself more excited about the local food market than the famous monument down the street. For instance, Arpana noticed her best travel memories almost always involved other women: a shared table, a market wandered together, a meal that turned strangers into friends within an hour.
But women struggled to find experiences like that on demand. Solo trips meant figuring everything out alone. Meanwhile, large tour groups moved too fast and ate too generically. Because of this gap, an idea took shape: travel that combines food-first curiosity with the comfort of a trusted, curated group, guided by someone who actually understands hospitality.
- A founder with real hospitality credentials, not a generic travel-blogger checklist.
- Food drives the itinerary — every trip, not just as an afterthought.
- Small, intentional groups, so conversations happen naturally and friendships form.
- Arpana personally curates every trip, drawing on her own hospitality network.
What Our Travellers Get
Every woman who joins one of our trips gets more than an itinerary. In addition, she gets a thoughtfully built experience, and genuine ease about travelling somewhere new.
- Curated food experiences backed by real hospitality industry insight, not internet recommendations.
- The comfort and safety of a small group of like-minded women, without losing independence.
- Zero logistics stress — we handle stays, meals, and experiences so you can just enjoy the destination.
- A genuine community that often lasts well beyond the trip itself.

What Our Women’s Group Travel Experiences Include
We design group trips for women, with food and culture at the centre of every itinerary. Specifically, we choose the destinations, and we map out the markets. We do this because travel is better shared. Otherwise, too many women either travel alone and miss the joy of company, or end up in large, impersonal tour groups that rush past what makes a place special.
Her Hungry Feet is for women who love to eat, who are curious about the world, and who understand that the best part of any trip is usually the meal in between the sightseeing. Whether you’re travelling solo and want company, or simply want a trip planned by someone who genuinely knows food and hospitality, this is built for you.
Services We Offer
- Curated group travel experiences across international and domestic destinations.
- Fully planned itineraries covering stays, culinary experiences, and cultural activities.
- Hand-picked restaurant and market recommendations, drawn from real hospitality expertise.
- A women-only group setting built for comfort, safety, and genuine connection.
Who Is Her Hungry Feet For?
Our travellers are mostly women in their late twenties through fifties — women who love food, are curious about the world, and want their travel organised by someone they trust. Many, for example, are working professionals with limited time to plan trips themselves. Others are solo travellers seeking community. And still others are simply tired of travel that prioritises photo-ready landmarks over what actually makes a trip memorable. Ultimately, what unites them is appetite — for food, for new places, and for travel that feels personal rather than packaged.

A Warm Welcome and an Invitation
If any part of this resonated with you — the street food cone in a foreign city, the wish for a better travel company, the feeling that the best souvenir is usually a recipe or a memory of a meal — then you’re already part of the Her Hungry Feet community. In fact, that’s true even before your first trip with us.
So, we’d love to have you. Explore what we’re building, follow along as new trips are announced, and when you’re ready: come hungry, come curious, and come travel with us. (For a broader look at why women’s travel is booming right now, this piece from JourneyWoman is worth a read.)
